Biography: Jamie A. Swenson

Jamie A. Swenson lives in Wisconsin with her husband, two children, a crazy Labrador puppy, a pushy cat, more bunnies than she agreed to, and some fish. She does not pretend to know the answers and rarely even knows the right questions. Jamie changes her mind daily/hourly and thinks no fewer than three completely insane thoughts before breakfast. She graduated from Hamline University’s MFA program and is eagerly awaiting the publication of her first three picture books: If You Were a Dog (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, illus by Chris Raschka), Boom! Boom! Boom! (Farrar, Straus & Giroux, illus by David Walker), and Big Rig (Disney-Hyperion, illus by Ned Young).
